Faculty

As part of a global community of educators and scholars, the Costello College of Business faculty are leading conversations about the future of business and society. Our faculty are engaged with the regional business community, produce research that informs business policy and operations, and provide venues for the region's business leaders to work with students in and out of the classroom. Their academic expertise combined with real world experience provides a bridge from academic theory to business practice.

Many of our faculty are highly accomplished, and actually have published a lot, and have reputation internationally as renowned scholars. Many of them have top tier research that, you know, some of our even our peer schools don't have that level of research. They are not only researchers, but they are also good teachers. So whatever they research on, whatever they stud-- they want to bring in that current idea and that information into their classroom. It is very important for us to maintain connection to industry. So your instructors are bringing experience directly from their own investments, their own deals their own experience into the classroom. We also of course, have Case Study Tours, guest speakers, everything you can think of to make sure that what you've learned in the classroom is immediately applicable to your career goals. For me, one of the best things about teaching is the support that we have, but also the engagement. So the students, they come here because they want to create a better world. They want this knowledge. They're deliberately pursuing this knowledge. The faculty are engaged. Our alumni are engaged. We just have such a great sense of community that it makes for a great classroom environment.
